WARRANTY
The warranty period on all
items commences from the date of purchase if a warranty claim is made and a
second part is supplied then the warranty period will not restart and will
continue from the initial date of purchase. All claims for warranty must be
made within the relevant warranty period, Buyer must return the product to Qld
Auto Airconditioning and Compressors for analysing, buyer is responsible for
the shipping costs of sending the warranty claim back to Qld Auto
Airconditioning and Compressors if the item is analysed and proven to be faulty
via a manufacturing fault then Qld Auto Airconditioning and Compressors will
pay the costs of shipping the new item, if an item is proven to be faulty via a
non-manufacturing fault then the customer is to pay the return shipping costs
of the rejected unit back to them.
Items that are sent back for a
claim must be accompanied with reason for return, contact details, & proof
of purchase. Without this information, Qld Auto Airconditioning and Compressors
will be delayed in assessing your claim. The warranty does not apply to failure
or damage to the unit caused by incorrect or faulty fitment, contamination by
foreign materials including water and oil, or any abuse or misuse of our
products. All items that are returned for warranty will be tested and Qld Auto
Airconditioning and Compressors reserve the right to offer repair, exchange, or
refund. In no case shall Qld Auto Airconditioning and Compressors be
responsible for any sequential costs including removal and re-fitment costs of
the item.
Please note: Airconditioning Compressors
All compressors will be pre
charged with the correct oil type and quantity, it is the responsibility of the
installer to ensure oil quantities are balanced correctly. All compressors are
to be fitted by an ARC licenced technician, proof of this will be required for
warranty purposes. As a minimum proof of the receiver drier replacement and
system flush will be required for warranty purposes. All compressors sold by
QLD Auto Air Conditioning and Compressors are designed to operate with R134a
Refrigerant only. Any hydrocarbon refrigerant used will void warranty
immediately. This will be tested upon return of compressor for warranty
purposes. (R1234yf will be the exception) It is the responsibility of the
installer to ensure the compressor is correct for the application prior to
fitting, units that have been fitted will not be accepted back for credit.
